Why do we need to be bossed around by a load of foreign beaurocraps who, by the way, all have an axe to grind with us? Don't forget, we have beaten all of them in various wars in the past centuries. Now the are trying (and succeeding) to ruin us economically. Trevor Bradley says the other countries bend the rules. So, obviously they are not happy with the situation. Are we threatened with isolation if we leave the EU? (or FU, as I prefer to call it)

The problem the UK has with the EU is whatever edict or Law or proposition that is made by the faceless minnions is automatically taken up by our goody two shoes PC brigade and totally inept government.
ANYWHERE in europe take the EU with a pinch of salt and bring out laws to suit their own and their citizens feelings & situation, all we (the government) do is u-turn from promises of this or that referendum and let the whole EU juggernaut run over us roughshod.
How many times have we heard of a British company going to the wall (UNLESS IT'S A BANK) due to no government support, Cars & Vans, Steel, Coal, Fishing, etc etc. yet in the next breath a company in Spain, France, Germany have been able to afford to do this that and the other following a government bung.
So after my rant, i don't think the EU is the problem, but our government and their apathy towards fighting our corner.

I do not believe that UK should leave the EU. On the contrary, it should be much more pro-active in shaping the EU and ensuring that much needed reform, particularly in the way the EU parliament goes about its business, is effected. The UK cut off from a large trading and populated landmass would become an insignificant third world country with little influence in the world Much better to be leaders in the big scene and ensure our security and prosperous future.
I have worked in Europe in Greece, France and Holland for extensive periods. Company workforces are better represented in company decisions and their welfare concerns are better considered than in UK.

although i agree that we should get out of the EU a flexible workforce will still create unemployment, as a company will employ one man to do three jobs instead of employing two or even three to do individual jobs, not only that who will pay an english man a reasonable wage when they can get a migrant to do the same job for peanuts.
H&S at the moment what a joke,i have worked in construction for 33yrs and can say nothing much has changed apart from some faceless nonentity to treat me like i'me a ten year old.
You mention in your excerpt over 60s and dissabled, never mind over 60 when you reach 40 your on the scrap heap, why do big buisnesses and most employers ignore the wealth of expierience thats out there in favour of a young buck who'll probably get bored and leave, or a graduate who will be bored and think the job is beneath him government AND employers want to wake up !!!!!!!!!!!
